I am a native Norwegian Teacher living in Carlisle, UK. I have a masters degree in education, and I have been working as a teacher since 1993. I have solid experience in teaching both face to face and online. I enjoy fellwalking when I am not working. As a person I am flexible, positive and aim to always try and find solutions to any problem and special needs. I like reading books both in English and Norwegian, and also try and keep myself updated on the latest issues in Education amongst others. My teaching style is based on the students I am teaching, as I strongly believe that every individual have their individual learning style. Howerver, I do use the Cappelen Damm material as a base for teaching to ensure that all topics and structures are being covered.

I am educated a Teacher to a Bachelor degree. I have also later done Post Graduate studies in Education, both in Norway and in England.

I have worked as a teacher and tutor since 1993, both in Norway and in England. Since I first started as a teacher I have been a Class Teacher, Head Teacher, Team Leader and Tutor. I have worked with all ages, from Early Years up to adults. I have also experience in working with Special Educational Needs. As a teacher I always make individual plans for my students after what level they are at. I also use a wide variety of learning resources, like books, papers etc. In addition I believe it is very important to work on improving students vocabulary, and base a lot of my teacing on communication. I often give my students homework to prepare for their next lesson, and always aim for them to be able to sit a Norwegian language test and get a diploma when they are ready.
